Pick’em official rules

Weekly Pick’em, 2026 season. These are the official rules of the contest. Last updated August 1, 2026.

No purchase necessary

Pick’em is free to enter and always will be. You never pay anything, to us or to anyone else, to make picks. There is nothing to buy that improves your chances, and no paid entry of any kind.

Who can play

Open to Bandwagon Fantasy account holders who are 18 or older (19 in Alabama and Nebraska) and legal residents of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia. One account per person. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Where a prize is offered, employees of that sponsor and members of their households are not eligible to win it.

How to play

Each week we publish a slate of that week’s games. Pick the team you think will win each one, straight up — no point spreads, no confidence points. You can change a pick as often as you like until that game kicks off, and at kickoff it locks. A game you do not pick scores nothing. A tie is a push: it counts for nobody, and against nobody.

How the winner is determined

The season champion is the player with the most correct picks across every published slate of the season. If two or more players finish level, the fewest incorrect picks wins. If they are still level after that, they finish as co-winners and share the title equally.

Picks are graded from the final scores in our game data. If a score is later corrected, every standing that depends on it updates automatically — nothing is graded once and stored, so the leaderboard always reflects the scores of record.

The prize

No sponsor is attached to the 2026 season yet, so no prize is currently being offered — play is for the leaderboard. If a sponsor signs on, the prize and the sponsor’s name will be published here before it is awarded. Any prize is provided, awarded, and delivered by the sponsor directly; Bandwagon Fantasy never collects, holds, or pays out anything of value.

Taxes

Any tax on a prize is the winner’s responsibility. Where a prize is worth $600 or more, the sponsor awarding it handles the required reporting.

Changes, cancellations, and disputes

If a game on a slate is postponed or cancelled, it may be removed from that slate; picks on a removed game come off with it and count for nobody. We may correct obvious errors in a slate or in scoring at any time. We may suspend or end the contest if it cannot be run as described here, and if we do, the standings at that moment decide it. Where these rules and the app disagree, these rules govern.
